Scottsdale, Ariz. - September 12, 2005 - Sage Software today added ACT! Link for use with QuickBooks to its ACT! by Sage 2006 contact and customer management product family. ACT! 2006, released last week, is the latest version of the #1 selling contact and customer management tool in use by over 2.5 million sales professionals and more than 30,000 corporate accounts worldwide. ACT! Link for use with QuickBooks is part of the expanded accounting link integrations designed for ACT! 2006 and ACT! by Sage Premium for Workgroups 2006, to provide users with real-time access to accounts receivable and payable information within ACT! while eliminating the need to duplicate data entry in multiple applications.1

ACT! helps users organize the contact details, notes, histories, appointments and documents required to build and sustain successful customer relationships. Users can now link their ACT! 2006 and QuickBooks Professional or Premier databases to view history and details of every customer and vendor transaction including estimates, invoices, sales and payments. Accounting information can be filtered by date range or transaction type. Users can create a new QuickBooks customer or vendor record from an existing ACT! contact record and automatically establish a link for easy access to information between each. Customer and vendor information can be kept current via ACT! to QuickBooks, QuickBooks to ACT!, or two-way synchronization.

Quickly view snapshot customer and vendor status -
• View open balances, credit lines and past due balances for any customer to instantly determine if they are in good financial standing;
• View when a customer made their last purchase and last payment so to determine when it’s time to call them for reorders;
• View a complete history of a customer’s purchases for the month, the current fiscal year, or since they became a customer;
• View how long it takes customers to pay their bills, how frequently they order, and their average order amount;
• View vendor payments currently due and history of previous payments.
Easily link contacts, schedule activities and manage estimates -
• Easily create and edit contacts in ACT! and link them to corresponding records in QuickBooks, and vice versa;
• Schedule activities with alarm reminders for any ACT! user to take action on a QuickBooks estimate, invoice, sale or payment transaction;
• Create estimates quickly in ACT! and convert them to invoices, showing both the estimate and invoice in an accounts receivable summary;
• Keep on top of past due invoices by scheduling an activity to call customers or vendors if payments aren’t received – even choose how many days after the transaction to schedule the activity.
